Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools
Bond Issue 5

November 3, 2015

Roofs, floors, walls, sidewalks, HVAC and electrical systems are in need of repairs.  Rebuilding this facility would provide a safer environment for our children and allow students access to much needed technology.

The sketch below provides an idea of where the new North could be constructed.  It is proposed to be located behind the existing structure and would allow students to remain in their existing building until the construction is complete.

The following are current pictures of North.

In 2010, the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (formerly the Ohio School's Facilities Commission) recommended tearing down North High School due to the significant decay of the facility.  Because repair vs replacement was nearly the same cost, replacing North was recommended.
